MapleStory M, Nexon’s mobile RPG, is celebrating its fourth birthday with the launch of its second summer update. In the first update, MapleStory M introduced a new storyline called Blockbuster: Black Heaven which features 45 episodes, a new Commander Boss serving as the antagonist of the questline, and new class skills for each class group. The second update adds one more playable class and a myriad of in-game anniversary events.
Let’s start by talking about MapleStory M’s newest playable class – Kinesis. His powers include telekinesis, which he uses to help the inhabitants of Maple World. Things went a little awry when Kinesis fought against the White Mage, a battle which led to the formation of a massive sinkhole in the city, which created a portal to Maple World. After this, Kinesis made a decision to bring all the citizens back home and he will not stop at any cost to reach his goal.
Moving onto other parts of the fourth-anniversary celebration, daily challenges can now be completed in MapleStory on PC, with the rewards being translated into MapleStory M. After clearing the missions, the rewards will be sent via mail. Spiegelette is also inviting everyone to celebrate the game’s fourth anniversary by participating in multiple mini-games and activities.
All players logging in will also receive some limited-time pets and auto-battle charge tickets. Until the end of the month, levelling up Kinesis will be a fruitful process as reaching milestones will grant extra rewards during the event period. Additionally, newly introduced characters will earn two levels on ranking up. Finally, the seven-day mission attendance event will be held between August 10th and 31st, and clearing five missions every day for seven days will grant a tonne of goodies.
