Icarus Next Month


RocketWerkz announces a December 4th release date for Icarus, the sci-fi
survival game. This project from DayZ creator Dean Hall was previously supposed to
arrive in August before a delay for further testing was
announced
. “After three months of beta testing and feedback from one of the
most engaged gamer communities I’ve ever seen,” says Dean Hall. “Icarus is ready
for launch.” Here’s more on the game and its system specifications:

Icarus
is a session-based survival game for up to eight co-op players where players
drop onto the broken terraformed planet of Icarus. Initially equipped with
nothing, players drop to the planet for missions lasting from hours to weeks,
before returning to orbit to progress their character and tech for the next
drop. Developer RocketWerkz has also confirmed the recommended specs to
experience Icarus’ beautiful but deadly environments.

The recommended PC specs to play Icarus are:

OS: Windows 10 (64-bit versions)
Processor: Intel i7-9700
Memory: 32 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA RTX 3060ti
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 70 GB available space

The minimum specs are:

OS: Windows 10 (64-bit versions)

Memory: 16 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB
